    HOSS 3.0 Steering Rack

@Wobblez helped me install my HOSS 3.0 steering rack yesterday. It was actually pretty easy once we removed the mounting bolts for the front differential support bar.

One thing we noticed…….you can screw an inner HOSS 2.0 tierod into a HOSS 3.0 rack. If you can screw an inner HOSS 2.0 tierod into a HOSS 3.0 rack, then you can screw an inner HOSS 3.0 tierod into a HOSS 2.0 rack.

I just ordered the Ford Performance Severe Duty Steering Rack, is that the same thing as the HOSS 3.0?

I'll let you know how it goes! I'm having Ford do the install, and I'm also getting the performance tune as well. Once that's done, along with the suspension upgrades, I'm thinking that next year's bonus goes toward 37's. 😀

How are you liking the Ride shocks? I've seen mixed reviews as some think they are a little too harsh at low speeds. IIRC, Accutune has made a slight adjustment to their tune to make them a little softer.

That might be true, but it's not THAT bad. I have yet to give them a though test since my back is out right now. But overall, I love them.

OK, took her out to Rowher Flats and ran just a 3 rated trail, but it was pretty rutted out due to the rain we just had so I thought it would be a good shakedown run. Plus it was very foggy/cloudy, so sorry, no pictures from the trail since I only had about 2 car lengths of visibility. But, from what I can tell, it's SOLID, and worked like a champ. I definately had more confidence that with my old Hoss 2.0 set up. Maybe that's all in my head, but, hey, I needed it.
