Lift kits & Coilovers

This past Spring I have added a 3” coilover from Eibach, if you have a 4 door it’s about 2 1/2” lift.
I’ve done a lift in the past with a Jeep and that wasn’t too bad, basically reversed the axels and added a 3” spring lift.
I will tell you , doing a lift on a front Independent suspension, just a little more trickier than just adding leaf springs to a vehicle.
The rear suspension wasn’t too bad adding the Eibach coilovers, it’s still a lot of work, but not bad.
The rear took me approximately 1 to 2 hours a tire, (this was my first time doing this) not sure exact amount because I did them at the same time, it was supposedly easier to do both at the same time.
The front was definitely a lot more work, pretty much everything has to come off or loosened to get the coilovers out and in.
I believe it took approximately 2 to 3 hours a tire to finally get the old ones out and the new ones in.
Most Definitely worth the work…….

Since adding the Eibach Coilovers, I have also added SuperPro Suspension Front Upper Control Arms for 2 to 4-Inch Lift about a month after the Coilovers, just to help with aligning the tires.
Anytime after adding a lift or front upper control arms, make sure to get an alignment done, especially if it’s over an inch lift.
I have also added 1” wheel spacers around the same time.

Last but not least, after the Eibach Coilover lift, SuperPro Suspension Upper Control Arms, and Wheel Spacers, I have added one other element to keep everything in check, (alignment) and that is the RockJock Rear Trac Bar Relocation Bracket.
This is to make sure you are aligned with the front tires, so not to stick out of the wheel wells more than the other side. The lift makes the rear track bar pull to the drivers side about a quarter to three eights of an inch, the rear track bar relocation bracket takes care of that.
