A little steering and tie rod help.

I installed that 3 piece kit in stages over the last two years. For the trip, I just puffed up some 37s today and next week some 5.38 gears are going in, along with the Broncbuster diff tube.

I wasn't planning to punish my Bronco out of the gate, but I did purchase BroncBuster's tie rod end sleeves a while back. Installation was a breeze. If nothing else, the tie rod ends will be protected from superficial damage. I have no plans to raise my Bronco or install bigger tires. I'm keeping my offroading activities modest.

After this trip, I may decide to take other protective measures. Right now, I'm focusing on what I can do with the stock vehicle.

I have thought of those as well, BroncOitis. They fall under the heading “taking reasonable precautions.” And they’re reasonably priced. However, the tie rod end sleeves, while sturdy and practical, lightened my wallet a bit.

I'm adding an ARB air compressor to the engine bay so I can free up more cargo space in the back of the Bronco. I'll be adding 37" tires in early March. I'm just having trouble deciding what brand to go with. I have a short list, but need to keep researching. I have icon tie rods and the Broncobuster bushing, but I plan to get the Broncobuster Steering Rack Housing for the 37s.

I already have a 2" Eibach spring lift, so the tires should fit fine.

I just put on the 37s on Friday. You may want to consider the JKS max tire kit. I had to temporarily chop the rear crash bar mount to clear a full lock turn on pavement. I am waiting for the max tire kit to arrive before chopping fully. I also will need to chop the rock slider an inch. I had the non-SAS Badlands, but added 1.25" preload collars and 1.5 spacers. Did you start out with Sasquatch? I have not had a chance to flex it out yet, but I am also worried about the fender liner.

Did you mount your 37s to the stock wheels? I was going to get new wheels at the same time with a -12 offset. Combined with my 2" lift that shouldn't rub.

Sorry. I just saw your reply. Yes, I am running the optional Badlands wheels with 1.5" spacers. I will stick with them for a while, as I have converted them to true beadlocks and want to keep that functionality without spending a ton on aftermarket beadlocks. Some day...

Changed direction a little this morning. Saw the post by TK1215 on BN about the Icon Tie Rod sale and couldn't pass it up. Bought these this morning so I guess I won't be using the tie-rod sleeves. Great price!
