Top of a Wednesday Morning everyone!!!
Yesterday I stopped at a gas station to fill up the Bronco, and this fella came up to me and said how he Loves the color of my Bronco.
I told him it was Velocity Blue and he repeated “what an awesome color,” we got to talking quite a bit about my painting beauty rings, Light pods, Light bar, Sasquatch stickers, engine size, and much more.
After about 10 minutes of talking, I asked him if he plans on getting one, since he was so into mine, and he said (quote)“No, I can’t stand Fords,” 😳🤔 I asked him why, and he said he had a Ford once and had nothing but problems, needless to say, our conversation didn’t last too much past that!!! 🤣🤣🤣

BroncOitis I don't understand how someone can sour on an entire brand forever after one bad experience. It's an extreme over-correction. Hmmph. His loss. More Fords for us! LOL

My Brother is the same exact way as this fella I met yesterday, he had one bad experience with Chrysler/Dodge and he will never buy a Chrysler again, only will purchase Chevy….
I have always believed that sometimes it’s “The Luck of The Draw” when purchasing anything, Autos, Dishwashers, Refrigerators, and basically everything that you can purchase, most end up with a reliable Appliance/Auto and a few don’t.
Basically, 2 people can go out and purchase the exact same vehicle on the same day and off the same Lot, one could have problems and recalls and end up with a lemon, while the other person has a Gem.

That now brings me to a funny story, my brother and I were looking for campers when I told him I found 2 Coachmen travel trailers exactly the same, come on up here and we can get an excellent deal when purchasing 2 of them.
Upon inspection of these 2 campers my brother and I were looking at, we noticed one of them didn’t have stabilizer bars, the seller said he would get them on late tomorrow afternoon, so my brother and I went back to our homes.
The next morning when I was going to go do the paperwork and pick up my trailer, I called to make sure the paperwork was ready, and it was ready to pick up, the sales person said that my brother was already there and signed the paperwork and was in the process of taking it home….
I wasn’t real happy that he raced there first to get the one with the stabilizer bars already attached, so I had to wait till late afternoon…
Didn’t mean to make this a long story, “I’ll get to the chase.”
After about 2 years of ownership of our trailers, he started having leaking water issues from the water lines under the sink, then a water line broke and flooded his trailer, then towards the end of that same year he noticed his ceiling was sagging and the walls were wet and soft, he ended up with a seal leak in the roof…..
He had a few other problems as well, needless to say, I never had one problem, except for maybe a molding coming off, but that’s about it……

Like I said “it’s the luck of the draw” sometimes!!!

You’re absolutely right, BroncOitis! I’m not so brand loyal that I would exclude the offerings of another manufacturer. I guess I’m a gambler. Not easily frightened. I like to think that is a good thing.

I have owned Fords, Chrysler, Dodge, Chevy, Honda, and Hyundai, and I have had good luck with some and not so much with others.
Perfect example:
As you know the story on my 2022 Jeep Willys, that doesn’t mean I will never buy a Jeep/Chrysler again because of one major problem with it, I just ended up with one that came down the line with a bad part installed on it…
That will not deter me from ever purchasing a Chrysler again just because of one bad apple in a Bushel or 4 Pecks!!! 🤣
